You must be aware of the two famous essential oils: Lemon essential oil and Lavender Essential oil, as they are often used in skin care products, hair care products, and aromatherapy. Both of these popular essential oils are responsible for glowing and radiant skin and can also help you in relaxing and protect you from stressing out.
While these two essential oils have their own advantages, together they become even more powerful and can make a good blend which will really improve your senses.
Here are a few recipes that you can try at home for different situations!
Recipe 1: To improve Focus
5 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 6 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil (you can get rosemary oil online in India), 6 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil and 4 tbsp. of Jojoba base oil.
You can use this mixture once you have shaken it properly and remember to store it in a cool, dark place. Just apply it to your temples or wrists. The lavender and rosemary essential oils will help in stimulating your memory while the lemon and peppermint essential oils will make your mind stay focused.
Recipe 2: To protect from depression
5 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 2 drops of Frankincense essential oil and 2 tbsp. of Grapeseed carrier oil.
Mix the ingredients well and then store it in dark glass bottle in a cool place. Shake it and then apply it to your neck, spine, wrist, etc. You can also use this blend as a diffuser but you don’t need grapeseed oil in that case.
Recipe 3: To Relieve Pain
10 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 10 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 8 drops or Marjoram essential oil, 8 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil, 1 Tsp. Tamanu oil and 4 tbsp. Almond base oil.
Once you have mixed all the ingredients together, you need to store it in a glass jar in a cool place and shake them well before every use. You can then apply it to the affected area and cover it to keep it warm as essential oils work more efficiently in a warmer environment.
Recipe 4: To Treat Eczema
8 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 8 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 5 drops of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil and 2 tbsp. of Argan oil(As base)
This blend is quite effective in treating eczema and should be applied on the affected area after every warm bath. When you use it regularly for a few days, you will notice that your eczema has started improving now.
Recipe 5: To Sleep Better
10 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 6 drops of Lemon Essential Oil, 8 drops of Roman Chamomile Essential Oil and tbsp. of Almond base oil
